A well known public sector body is looking for a CRadP (Chartered Radiation Protectional professional) to help them do radiological protection assurance monitoring and update radiological protection policy and functional documentation. With the activity in this area for the Royal Navy picking up since the launch of new boats you should be able to gain new contracts within this sector after.

Your purpose here is to provide advice on radiological protection and radioactive waste management, something that carries a huge safety risk to the personnel on the naval bases and the wider general public. Done right you could set industry standards that will be in places for years to come and potentially save many lives.

Job requirements:

* Graduate in scientific subject
* Chartered Radiation Protection Professional (CRadP)
* Must have knowledge and experience of radiological protection policies, standards and processes in the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Programme.
* SC cleared
