Projects Engineer £25,000 to £35,000 + 34 days holiday + PRP scheme + Occasional travel UK and abroad


Project Engineer required for a successful business who manufacture bespoke products for the automotive, space and military industries. This reputable company offer fantastic internal progression and training opportunities.


You can have experience of development and test within any manufacturing/lab environment, you will be responsible for analysing textiles. Those from a textiles or polymer manufacturing environment will be at a strong advantage. Those with experience testing and developing raw materials are encouraged to apply.


The role itself is working across various different departments, including sales, manufacturing and the laboratory.  You will be responsible for developing new and existing products. This will involve speaking with clients, listening to their needs and requirements and the carrying out the appropriate tests. The main testing is done in the central lab, where you will be responsible for analysing samples. You will test the weight, construction, yarn type, tensile and prosperity of the fabric.  You will ensure all materials can be taken through to production. This will involve dealing with suppliers and ensuring all required textiles are available for manufacture. Once you have established the design of the material you will progress the material through manufacturing and sign off the project.
