About the Client:

My client is going through an exciting period of growth and are now looking to appoint a Bid Manager to ensure that high-quality, relevant new bid/re-bid documents are produced on time and within the organisational governance framework. This will involve liaison with key internal stakeholders (sales, operations, finance, clinical) as well as direct client contact.

In essence this role is about identifying service solutions for strategic sales activity, and pivotal in the formation of key win themes and the production of first class documents to support the sales team.

The role also provides general marketing support to the wider business. It also involves leading a small bid team, working with colleagues and coordinating outside agencies to produce documents to the required standards.

About the Role:

This is a varied Bid Manager role – key responsibilities are to:

• Ensure that PQQ, ITT and other sales documents are filled out accurately, with brevity and that they fully answer the ‘exam question’ posed by the prospective client.
• Design and insert relevant graphics, process-flow charts and other supportive marketing collateral into PQQ, ITT and other sales documents.
• Oversee the bid financial modelling process working jointly with the Finance team to produce bid pricing sheet.
• Assist in the co-ordination and production of marketing proposals, brochure and other supporting sales collateral.
• Co-ordinate all bid production, activity and resources across the team during bids to ensure successful bid activity.

What we’re looking for:

All round experience of Bid production, support and delivery but the successful applicant will also have:

• Ideally experience of BPO but other business services sectors will be considered
• Strong communication, written and oral, and presentation skills
• Good commercial understanding.
• Flexible – willing to multi-task.
• Discipline in applying quality assurance and governance.
• Strong service ethic – willing to go the extra mile for an internal customer.
• Pro-active, organised and self-motivated.
• A strong team player – able to engage other team members.
• Able to work under significant pressure and against challenging timescales (may involve out of hours working as required to meet deadlines).
