£40,000 to 41,0000 + Basic Salary + Overtime + Holidays + Company Pension (12 Hours Rotating Days and Nights)

Electrically biased maintenance engineer required for an international food manufacturer, who produce leading market brands and supply national supermarket chains. The company offers a generous salary, competitive benefits package and offer a good working environment.

The apply for this role you must have experience in ANY FMCG environment. You must be electrically biased and be confident fault finding on PLC’S. Applicants will ideally be apprentice trained or equivalent.

The role will involve a mixture of both electrical and mechanical maintenance on a range of production machinery. The role will be predominantly reactive maintenance but there are pre-planned maintenance schedules which have to be adhered to and there will be occasional project work. The role would suit individuals who are particularly interested in continuous improvements.

The Role:

* Electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery

* 80% reactive maintenance 20% pre-planned maintenance

* Occasional new machinery installation/ project work

* Shift Pattern 12 Hour Shifts:

Week One 06:00 to 18:00 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Week Two: 06:00 to 18:00 Wednesday and Thursday

Week Three 18:00 to 06:00 Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Week Four: 18:00 to 06:00 Wednesday and Thursday


The Person:

*Multi skilled maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias

*Must transfer from an FMCG environment

*Must be confident fault finding on PLCs

*Ideally be apprentice trained
