My client is a midlands based University who due to a successful restructure are looking to strengthen their senior team by recruiting an experienced Interim Assistant Director of Facilities.

The Assistant Director Facilities (ADF) is responsible for the strategic direction and delivery of the Facilities Services of the University to its students, staff and visitors, in support of its academic and business purposes across all university locations.

The ADF will also be responsible for maximising opportunities to generate income from the University’s facilities and services, as far as is possible without impeding the academic activities of the University.

As well as an overriding instinct for good customer services, a combination of strategic planning, effective execution, and a well-judged collaborative approach – all underpinned by the need to achieve results are crucial.

The holder of this role will be expected to act as a change champion within the University, actively supporting the transformation of the facilities operations, streamlining services, fostering innovation and creativity and supporting cultural change to make them student and customer focussed.

You will be a strategic and commercial focussed individual with a background within soft FM.

£400 - £500 per day (up to £80,000 FTC)
